Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper recently gave a preview of the Routes America Conference set to take place in the capital in 2025.
Cooper said, “we are excited about it because it brings all of our counterparts and all of our partners in the same room and we are able to negotiate new routes for The Bahamas, discuss trends in the industry but most importantly these are heads in beds.”
The Minister also commented on the expected economic impact from the conference. “There will be roughly 3,000 room nights of very affluent individuals who are Chairman and CEOs and partners of the aviation industry. So not only is it an opportunity to rub shoulders with our counterparts, its a significant opportunity to build new ambassadors for our country to spread the word of its magnificence in the world of tourism and aviation.”
The 2025 Routes America Conference will take place February 10th-13th, 2025 at the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island.
