Norwegian Jade cruise ship made inaugural voyage call at Freeport Harbour

 The Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation (MOTIA) welcomed the Norwegian Jade to Grand Bahama when it called at Freeport Harbour with nearly 3,000 guests and 1,100 crew members onboard on May 27, 2024. The occasion was marked with a plaque exchange ceremony between Captain Ingar Kjellin, MOTIA and Freeport Harbour officials to commemorate the cruise ship’s inaugural voyage to the island.  Norwegian Jade’s visit was part of a four-day cruise around The Bahamas.
