Caribbean News, Latin America News:

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. July 3, 2020: As we count down to America’s 244th birthday, we thought this July Fourth weekend we would feature a Caribbean drink you can easily make on July 4th. Here’s the recipe for Painkiller, a drink popular in the British Virgin Islands.

2-4 oz. of Dark Aged Rum

4 oz. pineapple juice

1 oz. cream of coconut

1 oz. Orange juice

Garnish: Grated fresh nutmeg

Glass: Hurricane or snifter

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the first four ingredients, and shake.

Pour the contents into glasses over ice, and then top with grated nutmeg.

It’s that simple.

Bon Appetite and Happy July 4th
